 Applicatory aspects
EMPLOYMENT:
This fungicide is used on almond tree, pomaceous plants, drupaceous plants, vegetables (cucumber, courgette, bean, leek), sugar beet, floral and ornamental crops.
The employment is also suitable in the tanning of the seeds of wheat.

RANGE OF ACTION:
It results suitable for the struggle against the Punctuation and Oidium (collateral action) of the pomaceous plants; Monilia, Oidium and cancers from Fusicoccum and from Cytospora (collateral action) of the drupaceous plants; Rust and Oidium of the vegetables, the floral and ornamental crops, Cercospora and Oidium of the beet.

FORMULATIONS:
Wettable dust
Concentrated suspension
Products based on Bitertanolo + other p.a. fungicides (Captano, Ziram), are available.

MODALITIES OF INTERVENTION:
It quickly penetrates in the fabrics of the plant and locates itself in depth, escaping to the washing action of the rain (sistemic action).
It expounds a preventive, curative and uprooting activity.

MODALITIES OF USE:
The followings doses and modalities of employment are reported to products with the 25% of p.a. in the form of wettable dust.
- Pomaceous plants (apple tree and pear tree): against the punctuation, with collateral action against white ache of the apple tree: 0,075-0,1% (75-100 gs in 100 ls of water) in mixture with traditional fungicides at reduced dose, performing the interventions at the intervals of 7-8 days starting from the phase of the gems opening up to the phase of fruit-walnut and subsequently at the intervals of 8-12 days according to the climatic course. A superior dose must be used if the climatic course is particularly favorable to the growth of the illness. It is recommended to choose the traditional fungicide to add to product, to obtain the best results, keeping in mind the climatic course and the variety to be defended.
- Drupaceous (Peach tree, plum tree, cherry, apricot tree, almond tree): against monilia: 0,1-0,12% (100-120 gs in 100 ls of water) effect 2-3 treatments, before, during and after the flowering, repeating them at the appearance of the first symptoms of the illness at the intervals of 6-8 days; employing the most elevated dose and the shortest intervals during the climatic periods favorable to the development of the illness.
Against oidium: 0,05% (50 gs in 100 ls of water) effect preventive treatments at the appearance of the fruits every 7-10 days; if it is necessary to intervene during the infection, the dose must be elevated to the 0,075% (75 gs in 100 ls of water).
Peach tree, nectarine: against cancers (Fusicoccum) at the dose of 0,1% (100 gs every 100 l of water) effect 2-3 treatments in autumn (from September in November in concomitance with the phase of the fall leaves) and during the included phases between the pink buttons and the growth of little fruits. These interventions are also effective in the respects of the bead and they have a collateral action towards the cancers by Cytospora.
- Vegetables (bean, courgette, leek and cucumber): against rust and white ache:
a) preventive treatments: 0,075% (75 gs in 100 ls of water):
b) curative treatments: 0,075-0,1% (75-100 gs in 100 ls of water) effect 2-3 treatments at the intervals of 7-8 days, effect the first one at the beginning of the attack.
- Sugar beet: against cercospora and oidium: 1,2-2,2 kg/has diluted in 600-800 ls of water performing 2-4 treatments, at the appearance of the first symptoms and outdistancing them at intervals not superior to 3-4 weeks, according to climatic conditions.
- Floral and ornamental plants: in full field and in greenhouse: against oidium (white ache) and rust of the rose and of the other ornamental and floral plants: 0,075-0,1% (75-100 gs in 100 l of water). For curative treatments: 0,1-0,15% (100-150 gs in 100 ls of water).
The doses are refered to the employment with pomps at normal volume. It is recommended to dilute the product in a quantity of water that results enough to bathe the whole vegetation.

COMPATIBILITY:
It results compatible with the other parasiticides at neutral reaction.

USEFUL INFORMATIONS:
In beet growing, for the struggle against the cercospora, the product is mixtured with copper oxychloride.
The product also has a stimulating action on the vegetation with beneficent consequences for the production.
It is selective towards the useful enthomofauna.
