 Active principle: APHIDIUS ERVI

 General schedule
Aphidius ervi is an icneumonide that parasitizes the aphids, particularly macrosiphum euphorbiae and Aulacorthum solani.
The parasitized aphids become swell and they harden in a leathery 'mummy' of grey or brown color. The adult of icneumonide (of black color and long 4-5 mms) emerges then from the back part of the 'mummy' through a round hole.
The effectiveness of this assistant is best if it is used to recognize the odor of the cultivation and the aphids, before the introduction. This can happen in the following way:
- introducing some leaves (better if with aphids) in a bucket;
- inserting in the bucket the bottle and opening it;
- immediately closing the bucket and leaving closed for about 30 minutes (not hold under the direct sun).
- once opened the bucket the assistant will directly go to the search of their prey in the cultivation.
The use of this assistant is especially suitable when the infestation of aphids is at the beginning.
